  • Semi-quantitative estimation of crystalline phases.

Submission Requirements

  • Representative and correctly labeled sample.
  • Dry and homogeneous material (pulverized).
  • Required mass: up to 5 grams.

!Technical Limitations

  • Limited sensitivity to amorphous or poorly crystalline phases.
  • Approximate detection limit: 1–2 vol% (Rigaku Smartlab SE).
  • Possible preferred orientation effects in certain materials.
  • Requires adequate sample preparation for representative results.
  • Hygroscopic or reactive materials may undergo changes during measurement (e.g., hydration).
